Kaban, KK & Mike, thanks guys.
I was not a fan of these when I saw pics online, seems theres been a few changes since they first were released, they used to have a centre metal band like the Patatos before. Now obviously without the band, and new LP badge on also. When I saw them in the flesh I changed my mind, they look nice now with the darker finish and without the band. Plus considering the deal, I couldnt say no :)
They are basically dressed up 'Classics', Due to the sound I was looking for, I went with the option of 1 x 11.75" and 2 x 12.5" babies.

Love the rustic look of them tubs Andreas.
LP for their 50th anniversary is coming
out with some very interesting drums.
Check this one out, the wood texture
kind of look like your rustic looking set,

andreas, those are some nice looking Cuban SONOC tumbadoras. They are awesome sounding congas, I had 5 of them but they kept on splitting on me on account of the Miami humidity, they are one of the best sounding congas!

Nice classic indeed. I think that is only one drum though shown in multiple pictures.
Cheers.

This is LPs next anniversary series, there not available yet , however there kind of nice cause there fashioned out of hickory wood.
Im not a fan of gold hardware but they do look real slick...

Are these new Anniversery drums Salsa shaped or Classics? I like chrome hardware better, but these are sweet.

I am pretty sure shape is the same for both models (Classic & Salsa)the height
is where they differed. Salsa 28" tall and Classic 30" tall. The 50th anniversary
model seem to be full size, 30" tall but we will have to wait until LP post
dimensions and sizes on their website, I have not seen these new drums on
their website yet. They are probably waiting until after the NAMM show later
on this month to officialy announce the new additions to their catalog.
