I would like to organize some regular session of precussion with like minded brothers in London. I have the venue for gatherings at the week-end to do a social thing which could be quite nice. Playing, drinking, listening, discussing. Also I would like to hook up with individuals for practise sessions in the week.
I am in London, any one interested?
I couldn't find any where to post this message in the conga place which I find really surprising.
Would people be interested in other parts of the world?
We could also meet fellow percussionists as we travel around the world and have a network of jams worldwide!!!!
How cool would that be?

Just like there is a student finder, there should be a buddy finder.

I still think this forum is amazing though. Thank you for all the help.

I agree that a section about meeting others would be very helpful. I am in Berlin and most interested in playing the bongo in a Salsa band or with other percussionists but have not yet found out how to search for others from the same region here.

Tone/Charangaman,

I live in NW London, and would be interested in the occasional get together.

I lived in NW London for 12 years until a year ago (mostly Dollis Hill). If I was still there I'd come along, but will be there in spirit (keep an eye on your beers).

Buena suerte.

Hi Charanga/Diceman,

I hadn't had any replies to this post for the longest time and here you are.
So lets do it, When is good for you?
I can accomodate at my house in Brixton or at my studio ( I am a professional producer) in Brick Lane East London. I am above the Vibe Bar, come and have a drink and a chat.
Of course you guys are at the other end of town. That's London!
I can move around as well.

It would be good to create a regular session with a bigger number of people so we could play some proper rumba and stuff. I would invite some other people and maybe you could to.

Still it is worth the effort to congregate and exchange and share music and tips.

You can get in tuch direst if you like at antoine.olivier@gmail.com

See you soon hermanos
