Meinl Duo Conga

Hopefully I am posting in the right area...
I have come across a set of Meinl Duo series congas (a 10" and 11") and was wondering if anybody has had any experience with them? I can't find any information on the web about this particular series, other than the top half of the drum is wood, and the bottom is fiberglass.
Can anybody shed some light on when they were introduced, and if they are any good?
