If you haven't gotten Johnny Conga's new CD, OYE, you're a poopy head! This is a superb collection of work. Just got mine and fell in love with "Mulaly Park Bronx Rumba"!!!! Oh yeah....kick ass!!! You gotta get this CD. JC is the man, and we are so lucky he is a cornerstone of this forum and his wisdom, talent, knowledge and experience is available to us.. Now I'll shut up and listen to "Chablue"......

I love it, and its different then his last CD, Breaking Skins, which I also loved, in my opinion JC is very melodic in that CD. OYE! is hard driving, JC lays down the law with his tumbao. I also really enjoyed the choice of tracks too. It's important that we support people on this forum by buying their projects, and sharing our opinions of their art. I know times are rough, but a CD/MP3s won't break the bank.
