Why Do I Get Cold Hands When I Play?

Only been playing for about a year but I've noticed that whenever I practice my hands get cold. I'm in good shape, no circulation problems and I would assume if anything...that blood would rush to my hands and they would get warm. Is this a common problem?

Thanks.

Are you in a cold room? Your congas will have the same temp as the room you're playing in.
As you play, if your hands are striking chilly congas your hands will become colder.
If your congas feel cool to the touch that's a sign you may need to turn up the heat a bit before you start playing.
