Found a very rare old clip of these 2 great congeros. They were both very young and man did they play their tails off. Talk about hitting heavy handed with authority. Armando has allways been my favorite. Met him many times. Enjoy!!

On vibes was Rogers Glenn, Steve Berrios on drums/timbales,the late great Ray Maldonado trumpet/cowbell, Eddie GuaGua Rivera on bass and yes Mongo and Armando kickin butt!...Mongo and Armando were in their late 40's at that time...
