"Guaguancó Matancero" 45s, 78s

Postby guarachon63 » Sun Jul 24, 2011 11:18 pm

Hi group,

I am working on a discography of the original "Guaguancó Matancero" rumba group, I was wondering if any of you might have some old 45s or 78s of theirs in your record collections, and could share the song titles, label, and catalog info with me. Very much appreciated. Not talking about LP's here, only the original 45s or 78 rpm discs.

Here's a link to a sample of what I have already:

Thanks for any help.

-Barry

Any chance of getting these digitized? I don't know if they're in public domain yet, but it would be great to see online (maybe on archive.org).

Most of them have been released on CD already; on Tumbao 707 and WS Latino 4205 - those that haven't are on my blog:

Johnny I think there were just 2 LPs, "Guaguancó" and "Guaguancó Vol 2" - is there a 3rd one I am missing?

thanks
