 Had a fight with a window, and I lost :x
Middle finger and pinky on my right hand-6 stitches each...just great. I'll be out for about a month...or more?
Bad part is, its on the outer 2nd knuckle requiring a full hand and wrist splint further immobalizing and extending the recovery.

Just great.

Tonio, that's terrible! Its always scary when the hand gets injured. On July 20th, 2000 I put a 3.5 inch framing nail through my left wrist. It went in at the base of the thumb just ahead of the wrist joint and the point stuck out on the other side pointing down. Nail gun! It was 41/2 hours before the nail was removed and another 4 hours before I was back home. A day of pain! I wore a cast for at least 8 weeks and then several months of occupational therapy on the hand & wrist. Its still not right but, it IS about 85% of what it used to be. Lesson learned; always watch out for your hands! I met some cats in rehab that had much worse hand problems; 2 of them almost lost their hands due to infections from small cuts or nicks. I now always disinfect my hands after any type of cut or opening. I sold the nail gun very cheap! Good luck, Buck

Definately will need to take it easy, no choice !! Its hard doing everything left handed and I thought I was ambidextrious. I guess we find out the hard way.
Beingright handed, writing seems to be the hardest for left hand use. I have my mouse on the left side now :o

Bucko, yeah those nail guns are dangerous. I used to use a air stapler for heavy duty crate work. Once I had a staples go through one of my fingers, luckily it was just the tip.You can shoot nails with the nailers though !! yikes.
