Christmas present...

Mom-in-law sewed me 9 little conga stand sleeves out of velour... perfect for protecting

the surface from the rubber arm rub off the stand supports. Not needed ..but a nice way to protect

our investments.

But is that not a bit slippery when the congas are in
the stand with the ... thingummabob?

Naw Mike...solid as a rock... the sleeves are very tight....and I use some reasonable pressure

when seating the congas. Of course, time will tell... I'm not a Patato conga stand on kind-of-guy...

(too much caloric intake ! ) . A very nice gesture on Mom-in-law's part....
