Hola Rumberos, The gig scene is warming up a bit down here in the beautiful Island of Puert Rico. Last week we played Friday & Saturday (Orq Tropical Jamn ) and tonight we will do it again, this time with Roberto and SalsaChe a 9 piece SalSa band which include 2 Trombones, Upright Bass, Piano, Conga, Bongó,Timbales and 2 singers. We Play Old school salsa from Eddie Palmieri, Manny Oquendo, Dimension latina,Hector lavoe, ect, ect. Then on the 19 I have a gig with Tropical Jamn
& on the 27 I have to play my other part time as a DJ at the Puerto Rico salsa dance Congress. Kind of a busy Month. Gozando

Rumberos, I have been bless by the Lord this month as we have to play tonight also, then on sunday. Summer time is like this every year, gigs are call in at any time. There are so may Carnavals around that the groups are not sufficient . We are going to play at the same club where we played last Friday. Also it is time for The Puerto Rico Salsa Dance Congress and we have dancers visiting from many countries, parties will be every where.

Entonces que viejo Arre?? sounds like everything is everything on the island. Hey is it possible if you can post videos of the gigs your doing to share those great times since we cannot make it into the island.......yet.

Juancho, I may be able to get some videos. There is one in youtube ( May be ) under the name of Dona valiente, it was taken by a fan on 25 July 07, is in high definition although the sound could have been better but what can I say,the fan recorded with a hand camera. We were call at the last minute to replace another band but we were ready. Para esa fecha habiamos tocado como 5 guisos ademas del ensayado el dia anterior. En cuanto a videos creo que Roberto el de SalSaché tiene un video, vamos a ver si éste Domingo en el festival de la Chopa ( no la chocha ) puedo conseguir que alguien grabe algo.
