Posted: Sun Jan 11, 2009 7:22 pmVery interesting! But I'd say these are conga-like drums not congas. The skins are probably thinner, the hardware does not look super strong. Also, I don't think you can work like that with your fingers on a thick cowskin. His hand/finger technique is probably tabla influenced.

His playing technique is like tabla also. Indians have a lot of soul.
