Laurent,

I apologize for not having posted my comments before. I've watched all your stuff and I'm a bit intimidated by your talent and technique. The video is a super demonstration, some of which I will try to practice, though I know I will never be able to get there completely. I do have a question. Near the beginning of the first routine, you have what I think is a roll that is very fast. Is that a double using heel-toe (what they call the 'fish'? ) Great stuff! Your routine inspires and overwhelms me at the same time.

Hey Niall,

Excellent first try, nice chops and the sound is the best I have heard yet on YT.

CT,

I do believe it might be the old 'double roll bouncer'

I use different kinds of rolls. One is a double roll and an another with a heel/toe at left and one touch at right. It's result a sixteen roll in I put various accents.

That's what I thought when I watched your video again. I spotted the double roll (heel-toe) on one side and the single on the other. Great sound and a very cool technique, though one I may never get. I can't get used to the speed of the heel-toe required to lay down a good double and must rely on the straight double bounce technique that Yoni has perfected. It's the only one right now I think I can master in a few years.

Hey Laurent,

Very nice mate! Good sound with great technique.
I have just uploaded something to YouTube as well.
A bit of freestyling with some chops.

I hope you guys like it. My daughter shot it with her little

Hey Diceman,

Cricket :p no mate I prefer soccer... and my drums!
Slowmotion... mmm maybe next time :) Anyway I do lots of doubles both hands, some triplets with flams. I have flexible wrists which is very handy. And there is still so much to learn... :D

Thanks to Yoni and you for the positive feedback.

Respect to all and happy drumming,

Steady Freddy
