amigo, soy de aca NJ, soy gringo pero he ido mil veces a Costa Rica para surfear en todas las playas de alla. me gusta mas en la zona sur, playa pavones no se si conoces?
Quiero vivir alla un dia. Me encanta el pais y los ticos son muy buena gente.

Sunnyvale is near San Jose right? what are you looking to play?
There are a lot of people in the bay area for rumba, especially Berkeley and San Francisco....I can give you info for here...South Bay and Silicon Valley I don't know much about..

:cool: that's right. about 5 minutes. i love cuban music as well as salsa, guajira, sonmontuno, cumbia, merengue i guess i like it all. i must tell you. i' m a beginer just six months into it. but. love this music all my life i' m 45 and love to dance as well. i went to la pena cafe i watch them play rumba is just great. but, to advance for me at this point.
i purchase some dvd's and take couple private classes during this six months and i can see that i learned a few things
which is very encouraing for me and lot of fun. currently using poncho sanchez book. but, would love to hook up with other player at my level and have some fun. the san francisco and berkley crows is great but to advance and king of far a way for me. well my friend that's all she wrote.
