Does anyone know where I can get tuning lugs for a Sonoc conga? I bought mine in Havana about 20 years ago and until I get some replacement lugs its basically unplayable.

Any thoughts welcome!

Mil gracias

What's the length of the lugs?
You may be able to use any other lugs depending on the length.
I'm pretty sure Cuban Steel is not of
any special quality.

Hello mongo2!

I replaced mine with Meinls Lugs for Congas!
They fit very well! The old ones were really worn off...

Good luck!

Here are my 5 SONOCS. I bought new lugs from JCR (Cali) and replaced the original ones, as they were of inferior quality and were rusting on me. JCR lugs are the best.
