Hey all. I'll be spending some time in Spain this summer, and figured that would be a great time to pick up some flamenco cajon lessons. I've got two questions:

1) What are some good recordings, especially more percussion oriented?

2) Any ideas for teachers? I'll be in Madrid for a while and Almunecar as well.

Thanks!

Greetings Ben..

One band which is massive in Europe and are heavy on percussion is Ojos de Brujo... If you can see them live they will rock you! Nuevo flamenco, plenty of Cajon mixed with Cuban flavours and Rumba Catalonia.. ..

Also Radio Tarifa who play more traditional flamenco and Moorish styles..

Gerardo Nunez, Paco De Lucia... Can't miss with that!
