Check it out , this 3 musketters will be coming to a town near you. This time they will be in Sarasota , Florida USA. The only thing is that Gio is pictured but they don't mention him as coming, whats with that ?
But Patato, Candido and Milton should be an interesting show.

I would be very surprised if Patato shows up, being that he isn't playing anymore. He has been using a "palo" in his right hand for years, and he just celebrated a birthday, I think he's 78 now...and in a frail condition...."JC" Johnny Conga...

hola gente
thats what i thought j.c ... patato is a little to old for this when my wife ask me y it was cancel that was the first thing that come to my mind. they were supposed to show up in the carnival center in miami beach on nov 8 and they cancel the show at the last moment. i call the carnival center but they dont give any info why the mambo was cancel.
good luck olgoso if they do dont miss the oportunity the tickets are cheap...$35-25... they were from $25 to $65.00 down here in miami..

Well Candido is 86 an still hittin skins....unbelievable...but Patato hasn't been a"good guy", to his body over the years, if u know what I mean.....and Candi just seems healthy and never done anything to his body...those tickets prices are over charged, I think....but then again u get to see the "Godfathers of the drum"... before there no longer around..."JC" Johnny Conga..

Hey guys,
I saw the Conga Kings perform here in NYC about 2 years or so ago and Patato really couldn't do much. He did play the drums with a stick; but really could'nt play to the degree he was known for. Candido on the other hand was able to play his three drums. Gio of course carried most of the weight.

I recently saw Candido perform a brief stint at the Latin Jazz USA show in NYC. His age is definitely starting to catch up to him but it's amazing that he still plays!

Patato was honored with a well deserved award and was brought out to the stage. He really did look very frail and a little on the tipsy side but the man received a well deserved standing ovation from the crowd.

It's important, I think, that we and the future generations of latin music understand how these past masters have paved the road for us and helped bring this music to where it is today. Baya!
