Posted: Thu Mar 02, 2006 3:52 amI love it when I go to the salsa club to hear a really hot band and just before the smoking 'guaguanco' tune with the extended 'montuno' section for percussion soloing, the conga player ask's "does anyone want to sit in on these things", so I get up there and play and have a ball taking the solo of my life for as long as I want with everyone in the band locking together as tight as a quinto. After that the regular conguero comes back to play a bolero.
