I don't know, maybe it's a little obnoxious, but Dusty proves that you can drink beer and play quinto.

That clip and seeing 'Dusty' drink beer and play reminds me of the video footage I have from a few years ago of this massive rumba/jam we had with about 10 or so of the best local percussionists from here and my good friend Daniel Lopez who was touring with Gloria Estefan at the time...
I pour him some rum while he is on quinto, with one hand he takes a few gulps (while still playing quinto with his other hand) puts the glass down and as he swallows the rum, both hands explode into a fury of chops. Very cool stuff, he studied with Anga and Tata for many many years before leaving Albita's band, defecting to Miami and after Gloria, joined Ricky Martin.
We were privilidged to hang out and jam on several occasions while he was in town with those artists on tour.

Sorry guys but I have to agree with Onile and Abakua..that is NOT rumba or guaguanco....I wish people would really learn to play the drum rather than "fool around" with it...or just leave it alone for others,that are more serious about it, and also "make a living" by playing...."JC" Johnny Conga...

that was hard on the ears..... they had nice drums though.
