Cool, nice stuff, so who's Dr. Z in the pictures? Timbales, congas, or set?

Yeah - I like it Dr. Z....

..although the page you referred to has a little 'feature' (programmer term for 'bug') in that all of the music files can be played at once. Here was I thinking there was a new timba/guarapachanguero hybrid to learn :D :D

Why anybody would want to play Santanas music is beyond me...it's been done and there are more "santana tribute" bands than u can shake a stick at....C,mon be "original"...anybody can 'copy" sombody's music....and maybe even play it better than the originals did , but your just "copying" them....if ur gonna play his music, change it rearrange it come up with a new approach to the tunes that he's been playing for 30 years.....make it your own....but to be playing Black Magic woman ....eh......my 2 congas...."JC" Johnny Conga....

I understand what you said, but I was called to help for a friend of mine which wanted to do it,I did point out those thinking, but he wanted to do it this way,(tribute),so I respect his wishes,(the other band where I play is a fusion/Reggae band with their own songs), but I have played with other bands which have cover songs from Salsa,Colombia, and Merengue music, there are still a lot of them around.I'm king of a fire/man,(if they need an emergency percussionists for any reasons),I take care of it, if I'm not busy for the engagement.Dr. Zaragemca

I'm glad that you find it like that Rumbaman,it is generic playing for a generic/music,( which is Son-Cha-Cha),of course you haven't heard the smoking solos in some of them like Black Magic Woman, becouse the songs aren't played in full.Dr. Zaragemca

Hey Dr.Z i realy liked the last two , but you did'nt play my favorite off soul sacrafice . That is Fried neckbones and some home fries . Love that song it has sentimental values to me . I used to play it all the time with a great freind of mines who passed away , may he rest in peace .

Saludos Rumbaman,we do have Soul Sacrifice in the roster, but I was not involved in picking up the songs for the Web/site,it was Jeff, the Web/site guru. Dr. Zaragemca
