Just had to post this picture. THe person who took the pictures had many blurry images because the camera's flash settings were a little weird. For some weird reason, THIS picture came out with a healthy balance between blurry background and focused foreground (me).

The effect is one in which it looks like the aura of the music is coming off of me.

A painter couldn't have done it better.

Tripod is a shitcrap of a hoster...just copy address into url box, and view it. If you click the link, it will not work. Tripod doesn't like it when people link from other websites.

¿Cómo esta mi pana?

¡Chacho! I don’t think you could have made special effects better than that even if you tried! That is a really cool pic mi hermano.

I saw the pic a couple of days ago, and mentioned it on your post (or at least I tried), but I was having some problems with my computer, so here I am back to let you know how cool the pic is!

¡Sigue Pa’lante mi hermano!

thanks guys...i had fun that day. I wish I was performing more than I do these days. Not too many Latin gigs in Rhode Island.

But I'm outta here...i'm gonna finish my PhD work at Umass and then continue on to Boston or another city.

Is that a TWA I see you sportin'? (Teeny Weeny Afro), We all had one back in the day, sho ya right!

Funk grooves have to be some of the best grooves to open up in!
I've played with only a couple of them in my time, but I'll tell you, it was fun!

You look like you enjoyed yourself in that group!

I promised I'd add something from my trip to Japan, and as this thread has gone somewhat funky, it seemed like the right place.

thanks for all the support guys. I'm hoping my PhD can give me a good paying career, so I can do music on the side without concerns about money or worried about how to pay the next rent. Hoping to get a professor job at some University in a city.
