Being new to almost any music that uses the conga, I've had a hard time finding the info I need to understand stuff. I ran across University of Salsa--very, very useful.

This site may be old news to many of you--I just discovered it accidentally while searching for "guajira". I hope other neophytes such as myself find it useful too.

The glossary alone made the trip worthwhile!!

Thanks for the reference, bongo boy. I gave it a visit and found it to be worth my time too.
Might be a good resource for clubs in LA/NY too.
