Matthew Smith Cajones...

Not that Matt is making them :P ...

Do you think he would do well making and selling nice furniture quality, sturdy and sonically awesome Cajones?

They're easier to make than Congas and he could make them as he does the congas, by order and have some pre-made.

I know that he is swamped with work, and I'm just suggesting a way he can supplement his income.

Would any of you buy one or a set providing you are financially able to?

Just a thought.

If I were in the market for a cajon and Matt made them, I would consider purchasing one from him. However, I have two right now and I am not in the market for another.

GJS

p.s. Matt made me a wonderful bongo drum and his work is top quality.

Here some photos of Cuban cajones created by Matthew Smith all signed and dated 96. I would consider selling the set of 3 or trading for conga or bongo if the right One.
