Interesting, but I rather stay with the real thing..I don't even care for the fiberglass type. There are plenty of gourds to go through all of that work and from what I see the lack of roundnees I think it would make for akward playing.

That big chekere that Tito Sandoval, has in his hands looks beautifull, and folkloric,
who makes those?...and who owns it?.....
i have seen it in a few of your pictures.
