WOW ! Thanks to J.C. / Johnny Conga for showing me this modern version of a Gon Bop that Ray Barretto used for a time. Remo also made a similar drum. This is the best I have seen & features venting holes but perhaps less holes or adjusting vent holes may be the next thing to consider. I can imagine experimenting with natural bass drum heads as well. I would add stronger legs since in previous models, the floor tom legs are not stable enough.
