Caja (Tumbador) Cajon

Postby Congadelica » Sat Mar 28, 2009 5:48 pm

Ok . Firstly Id like to say thanks to Thomas Altmann , I followed his direction from the design of my Caja Cajon . http://www.ochemusic.de/artcajon.htm
The plywood at my local wood yard had decent 5 ply 6mm and 3ply , its not beech or birch finish but strong enough .
I am very pleased with the results strong construction . I used Gorila glue and finished it with Labern black polish used on Grand piano `s . ready to Rumba . :D

No Sorry . I did not do a step by step pics build. If i do in the future Ill remember to take pics . It really is quite easy to build .
Just take time to read and fully understand Thomas Altmann `s brief instructions and think the job through .
The base note is killer Im most happy with my new addition .

Looks phenomenal, I think I'm going to have to make one soon.
The black polish looks incredible! Looks like a big bass woofer!
Really nice job man, I'm sure it sounds great.
