cowbell Beaters

Postby msb501clave » Sat Feb 21, 2009 5:41 am

I have been making cowbell beaters for a bit now for a few people around Ny and thought id see if anyone wanted one on the board. They are 5 bucks made with Obeche wood from nigeria. This wood is stained with watco just one coat for a little color. I use obeche wood because it holds up well ,should not splinter, and is somewhat light. the leather i use is leftovers from a upholstering Co. which i buy bulk by the lb. and is very nice. some i have are suede and some are the soft leather side. some people like to use the leather side some like the wood side to strike with...
here is a pic of 2 i just made. 5 bucks plus shipping cant go wrong....
