Check out this guys cabasas. It has a pick-up installed so it can be amplified. I just got one in the mail today and plugged it into my old guitar amp. It works perfect and sounds really great!! I even hooked up some pedals to it and the thing makes some really sweet effects. The construction is good, sound quality is great, and the finger hole design makes playablity easy. $20 well spent.

This almost looks like the electric cowbell joke couple of years ago:), but I guess since it's on ebay it's real. Have you tried this thing yourself?
