Saludos,

I noticed the videos with maestro neil benitez, he is a close friend, when they brought me my caja vallenata from barranquilla he was the one who taught me "paseo" & many other golpes, he also taught me how to tune & de tune, he is an awesome percussionist and I have had the chance to gig with him. He plays everything that has to do with percussion including tambor alegre, huache, bongos,timbal, congas, caja vallenata,etc.. he told me he recorded all the percussion to Joe Arroyo's(RIP) hit "a mi Dios todo le debo"..


Another good person to lean caja from on youtube is "sergio palacios"...
