Can anyone tell me what type of drum a bacurinha is? I see it listed on the instrument credits of Alex Acuna's all percussion CD (see my post in the "Other (conga)" heading). From what I can surmise it might be a type of repinique. Can someone enlighten me? Thanks

Well, I after doing some checking, I'm going to answer my own question. It appears that a bacurinha is a name for a small repinique, generally with a head diameter of only 8 inches. I can sleep peacefully now....
