Hi, I remember some years ago, LP made a drum called "Nada drum", a cross between a talking drum and a doumbeg. It had the same shape as a doumbeg, but with the "foot" large enough to accomodate the nylon stripes which were used to modulate the pitch when squeezed. You should describe it as a "single-headed talking drum" or as a "talking doumbeg".
Do someone else emember this drum? Why did LP discontinue it? Did anyone of you ever tried it, or even owned (or still own!!!) ??? :D
thank you guys!

Hey, I just noticed on LP website that they are still making its replacement head, so I guess they sold some Nada drums... There must be someone out there who owns one!!!
