Animal/bird calls are very cool....
I have a thing about only including Australian animals or birds in my playing, however. I mean, I try others when I'm stuffing around but if I'm playing seriously I avoid them. The one exception is donkeys - I read a thing recently which said that since donkeys had been introduced into Australia the Aborigines have incorporated wild donkeys into their folklore so I feel justified in that.

It's possibly just an urban myth but I've heard that some Aborigines become so good at replicating bird calls that they can actually attract the birds to them.
