Everyone,

This is a really nice pattern for use as a groove or occasional fill. It also has the added advantage of making the entire band look around in surprise/horror if you use it in a rock setting.

Here we go.....

RH on Ride (perhaps bell)
X_X_XX_X_XX_XX_X (16th notes) (Mozambique)

LH on Snare & Toms (S-Snare, H-hi tom, L-lo tom)
SH_HL_ (16th notes) (sort of a Bion)

L&R Feet (B-Bass, H-Hats)
B_HBB_HBB_HBB_HB (16th notes) (Samba foot ostinato)

Sorry about the crappy notation - it should only take a minute to write it out properly. Throw the left hand around on different toms if you feel like it. It's even cooler if you feel like replacing your ride with a cowbell.

Enjoy!

Sorry, that left hand pattern was:

S--S--H-H--L--L-
