There's something strange about the measurements : 35 cm is almost 14", which seems to be rather large. I guess the seller measured the crown diameter and not the playing surface...

What year is that more or less? Anyone know?

Probably. In the last photo you could have the idea of a fine grain. But the hole of the missing handhold looks not very deep.

I don´t think the seller is a musician. His other offers give the impression that he is trading with things from household clearances. - I own a Sonoc quinto which seems to be a little more slim than the one in the auction. So, I would say it´s a conga.

I think there would have been more bands if it was made out of wood. My wooden ones have 4 bands. It's a nice deal anyhow for someone living not to far from München.
