I have a pair of vintage Gon Bops International series, 10.5" & 11.25". The 11.25" drum has some hairline cracks at the bottom that should be easy to fix or leave as is. The bottom band is holding them together. These are oak. SOLD

I have a set of three vintage Deluxe Series Gon Bops - these were professionally painted red when the previous owner had them...I was planning to strip the paint down to the natural mahoghany, and the requinto has a hairline crack in the fiberglass covering. I don't believe the crack has gone to the wood. The requinto and the conga have LP handles on them.
This is a great set - 9.5" requinto, 10.5" conga, and 13" tumba.
SOLD

Hi Congadin

I would advise to be very careful before remove fiberglass from these beauty , You could destroy completly the drums.
I think it is better to glue the split only and may be paint or polish surface , I do not think is possible do more than this.
