I knew this was a forum members tub soon as I read the description! Nice little drum at a fair asking price, hope the sale goes well. Good luck. The old Bops are getting harder and harder to come by . Oak or mahogany

Thanks , I think I may be selling to a forum member here, it's a great drum but I really don't need two requintos! Don't think I'll be doing any conga battles soon!

I miss the good old days of the real conga batles. Without gloves and till one conguero couldn't get up any more

Looks like a sweet little drum. Somebody's gonna have a big grin on their face.

It is a bad ass sounding drum. I'm really torn because iy sounds just as good as my sonoc, especially with the new skin. Just can't afford to keep everything unfortunately. With a new finish on it this drum will look and sound as good as an 800 dollar drum for sure. The oak gon bops to me are right up there with all the greats.

Yeah, it's hard to part with any drum you take responsibility for. Especially the one's that thank you for it by sounding real good. I just recently did up 4 old Bops, 2 mahogany and 2 oak early 70's. Love to record them. Believe me, I thought about your drum. But over the years I have to damn many  I'm getting ready to redo my 5 palisades as a summer project. Been with me since 1971, so I know about holding on to drums.
