Can anyone give me some more info on this great timbalero?

I know he is currently playing & touring with adolecentes orquesta, but can anyone give me some history on how he started in venezuela?

Ok good to know, I would have guess he would have some kind of tie with oscar d'leon, its a good thing he convinced him to play timbal, he's an excellent timbalero, his setup is really unique, he's probably the only timbalero I've seen use a tom and not a snare... last time I saw them in concert he was using meinl timbales, I'm guessing he's an endorser?
