Hello congaplace

Does anybody know of any books about the evolution of the drum in relation to the various diaspora movements? I have been using the wikipedia but I need something more indepth, any ideas?

If you are in or near a large enough city that has a good public library that would be a good place to start looking. You might just find way more than you bargained for!
