My teacher told me that I guy named Carter Collins first created Echotones. They were beautiful dr ums. Ylurs are gorgeous. Peace through music, Seneferu

Im Sorry but your information is wrong as to who created ECo-Tones and that is Mr. Frank Mason out of New York City.in the 1960's...I know this because i grew up in NY City and my first fiberglass congas were his Eco-Tones... here I am with mine at the age of 16 in the Bronx, NY...

It was Frank Mesa who created Eco Tones. Here are my 3.
