I would also consider these "Huge pro" ones. There is even an embedded video demonstrating how they sound when played with exemplary technique :D

I would recommend a pair of Pearl fiberglass congas 11 1/2 and 12 1/4 these are basically "quinto" congas.. . .the quinto has a different role in playing. . .pick up a Middle and Bass conga.. ..to start would be my recomendation and pick up a quinto later. . .Johnny Conga...

I spent many a sleepless night asking myself the same question :D

There really is a lot of crap, clever misrepresentation and claims on ebay. Moral of the story is - do your homework and carefully read every single line of the offering before you get involved in bidding

If you like them get them. I have a set in my studio like this but they are Cosmic Percussion by LP. They come in handy for students, Kids, drum circles, practice. I have put new heads on them and they sound good. But be careful on e-bay, Ask the seller all the questions about them first. I have been lucky on e-bay but I hear some people have had bad transactions. Good Luck.
All the Best!
