Are those Pan Con Queso bongos?
In the picture with the four sets of bongos the set on the right looks like a set of 5 lug Pan Con Queso I saw on ebay. If they are I am glad that they went to someone that can appreciate them!

I got them from a Venezuelan guy that used to sell conga and bongo skins to Junior. I don't know if they are Pan Con Queso, he said they were Venezuelan made. They sound and look great.

The 5 lug on the right is a vintage 1972 walnut Gon Bops in mint condition. The one on the left is a vintage 60's Valje that I got from Johnny "Dandy" Rodriguez, bongocero for Barretto,T. Puente and leader of Tipica 73'. The one in the front is a replica solid piece Vergara made by Jay Bereck of Skin on Skin.

Enclosed: Dandy Rodriguez ( the tastiest of all bongoceros) with the Valje on the photo.

Omelenko, Thanks for posting the picture. Those vintage 60's Valje are beautiful . I remember seeing Johnn "Dandy" Rodriguez perform live with many bands. He's one of the best. Does the extended wood on the Valje give it more projection?
