Bongoceros.
Alright, last night was road test for the Black Widower 3A Percussion Bongó. I had a rehearsal and he was out to the test. First when I took it out of the case the Conga player almost pass out from the impression of the chrome & the ebony black. Then after some tunning I was ready to slap it left and right. This Bongó is very easy to get a sharp slap and the Hembra has a nice deep melow sound, old, old school sound. So we startet playing some themes and even with my musician ear plugs I could feel the power and how this beauty cut thru the band. Then we switch so the Conguero could have a taste, It is always good to have somebody else with a different technique to play your instrument, there you can appreciate the sound quality specially the Martillo tone . That taki taki toc is very important to be of a solid sound in a salsa band during the Montuno and Piano solos. 3A is not expensive at all $250, superior quality on everything, strong construction , top of the line cow skins , 3/8 " lugs, Flor Morado Wood, ect ,ect .Thus far it has 5 stars, let see as time goes by and aging takes place. Next is Saturday night gig at Latin Roots Café.

Juancho, Shiping from Colombia will cost you the same as the instrument. That is the problem. You can contact 3A so the next time he comes here the Bongó can be send to you via USPS, that shiping is about $40 including the insurance. Right now some of them are been sold by Pure sound store but the price is higher than dealing with Alejandro. Just do some calling or contact him online and he will get back to you, this way you can choose your own color ,ect, ect. As An update I just spoke to his contact here and all the Bongos he brought are sold to individuals or are already in stores. Contact him 3A and let me know so and order can be made for next time. 787-550-3932
