I would also add that Michael Spiro's books are also an excellent source for learning....and also the Kevin Moore books with Calixto Oviedo...are great!..and also David Penalosa's books...

I Just got the Doctor's book Congas Full Circle..it's about 400 pages...you will have to know how to read notation to learn what is in the book as it's all notated and some musical descriptions(French 3 exercise all open tones) are used I have never heard of before..mostly in reference to rudiments in the book...it's pretty comprehensive..he gives Tomas Cruz and Luis Conte props and Cuba. He also calls it his Synergy Psychology and Philosophy in playing ..as he says and I quote "To be consciously unconscious or unconsciously conscious does not mean to be without consciousness!"....I would recommend the book. I have already learned something from it and will use it in my own teachings as I also use others as well..
