Hello!
Does anybody know any instructional materials about
brazilian hand percussion??
I'm looking for rhythms for atabaque and timbal.

In addition to Laurent's suggestion here is a site with a Volume 1 and Volume 2 download lesson lasting 1 hour each

It is pretty comprehensive from the basic to quite advanced.

At $15 I would expect better quality but he explained the rhythms well with enough play along so you develop that Brazilian feel/swing.

Im useing these DVD got them a few weeks ago , agree with everything Derbeno says .
easy to follow and a nice feel for the Samba groove.
