I may want to carefully remove this badge to do some maintenance on this shell. The badge appears to have rivet-like attachments.
I'm not going to remove the badge if I have to damage the rivets to do so.
Has anyone here removed one of these plates without damaging it?

Yes....I've decided to do that..again. that's what I did years ago when I repaired a Crack between two staves. I took that opportunity to sand all the scratches and a few gouges here and there and refinish. Looking at the badge plate ....ya.... that is the best option. Thanks.
