Picked up a like new set of these (3 drums plus stand) shipped to me for ~$950 (or $320/drum plus one double stand).

FedEx has them and I should get them next week. Very excited!

Now I just need to learn to play them...

They’ll be in my hands Tuesday!

Something I really love about those graphics. Was looking for Patatos of Galaxys but so happy to get these (as they really are just red Galaxy models anyway).

Sweet set Bro! Those look mean! I’ve owned my set of LP Classics since 1989 or so. There’s a guy on YouTube, Eric Perez. His YouTube channel is called “A Percussion Life” is the best. He’s very good with going over step by step on learning how to play Congas as well as all music styles and types. I watch every week since he uploads new videos every Thursday.

And mostly every monday too, except for today... so far...

I'm falling off-topic, Juaort, but are your skins the famous "black gold mule" which in fact are not mule at all, but are said to sound very good ?

What’s up Chtimulato! The skins came from Manito Percussion. These are Dark Steer Skins. I love the sound as well as the look of them.

Yes, they are said to be good, everybody using them praises them. I learned they were not mule, and It's stated on Manito's website. They had a DNA test made to prove it was steer. And I've been told recently they were dyed. But most important is : they sound good. And I like the look too.

Devagar: You’ll love that guy and learn a lot from him. He’s really good at teaching conga playing.

Chtimulato: 100% agree, that are bad ass looking skins. They make my LPs look sharp. The sound is sweet. I wish I had more time to play them.

Juaort.
