Thanks for the good words...

I know that there is big controversy about these drums, and I was aware of it before I bought them.
To tell you the truth, I had no intention of buying them because of it... Then I sat down and played them.

Listen, I know I am not as "Drum Smart" as y'all, and I don't play as well as y'all, but I fell in love with these drums when I put my hands on them... Nice! Beyond nice! These drums have life in them... Spirit.

They sing. They made me sound better than I am. I just got the skin vibrating, and they took it from there.
Rich, full, warm, deep booming vibe, high cracking pops... Awesome projection. And the way they look! Man, yeooow!

I used to think that the way they look has nothing to do with the way they sound... I'm not so sure anymore.
I know, I know... "It's not the arrow, it's the Indian". But in my case, I think the arrow has a lot to do with it.

You just run your hands over these drums and they are perfect... Like liquid. Do they have to be so perfect? I don't know, but it sure is nice that they are...the love that when into them by hand, comes out of them in your hands.

Fit and finish, flawless, like they say, "like fine furniture" I didn't think I wanted that, until I sat down with them.

So, are they worth the money? Depends on what your definition of IS, is.

For me? Absolutely. I think I need to go back for the Requinto and the Boomba.
