This cat actually posts some real nice lessons for those interested , but what I am more interested in is the sound of those drums! Gotta go to cuba and get me some. They just sound so nice!

I've seen this fella before but didn't clue in that he's playing sonoc's. They sound very sweet.

I also quite like the rhythm - think I'll pick that one up.

I had 5 SONOCS, the biggest mistake I made was to sell them. Matthew was not known to me back then and I sold them because they split on me. They are very melodic congas, probably the most melodic of all (Caoba I'm talking about). That is why Tata and Los Muñequitos recorded with them. Mine are mostly in SF and NYC these days.
