meinl professional series congas

I played around with the meinl pro series and I was impressed I never really gave these a look because Ive always been an LP guy but these were nice. The only thing was they had no carry handle which comes in handy but I'm still impressed by them as far as mass produced congas

Very good wood drum, has less ring..more like no ring, compared to LP Classic.

Kaban I was pleasantly surprised. And thats not even their top of the line conga. I wish they had a woodcraft conga to check out.

Hey Vinnie,

I tried the Woodcraft at a drum store a few months ago. The finish is amazing, the sound is louder, but IMHO it's a bit harsh. The Pro Series has a sweeter sound, and a great buy. Oh, the hardware is as big as the LP Galaxy. I think their under rated.

I think I'm going to give the pro series a try I will be buying some congas soon maybe in a month or so and I think the pro series is my first choice so far. Ive had matadors and LP classics the pro series meinl are better sounding imho
