Here it is with my plates well polish, pretty light rims and lugs, caoutchouc on the bottom and on the nuts and a nice medium cow skin. The skin is drying... can't wait...

Nice, that's different. I always love
to see the work you do, I think is
fantastic. The only thing I worry about
is the big company drums coming here and
"borrowing" some of your fantastic ideas and not
give you proper CREDITSSS and do not think
they are not snooping around to see what
they can "borrow", it had happened before.

Thanks RitmoBoricua !
You know, innovations have to be protected before share this, but original finish or original woods are not inovations. The only stuff I have patented is the overtones attenuator because it's really something new. For the rest, it's just cool to share stuff between congueros around the world !!

So ! first impression about this prototype : Super powerfull, BIG bass, a lot of volume, due to the fat shape and the very solid shell. Round overtones due to the good cow skin. And slap !!! Easy to slap and very powerfull. Shure we don't have the roudness of the wood, but it works well. And the result is very light and solid.

Does the t-shirts have any dampening effect on the tones of the drums?

No, the resin make it rigid, no dampening effect. It change the sound because it make the shell thicker, but no dampening.
