CP Conga

Is $215 an OK price for an original, one of the good ones, CP Conga in really nice condition shipped? Also, were all the CPs 28" tall?

Well, there were CP fiberglass congas too.
And yes, they should all be 28".

If it's just for one drum, no. Patience will get you a set for that same price 8) .
Good luck.

Agree with the King there, CP's, even the vintage ones are usually under 200.

I am, I just ran across this and thought I might pick it up. I'm having a very hard time deciding between Potatos and Originals. Really like the Originals, but I think the Potatos would be more versatile, so they are in the lead.

TTOM,

What sound do you like better, the full bassy open tone sound, or the melodic slow fade open sound? Do you like to slap alot while you whale on your drums?

The slow fade ope sound. Haven't perfected my slaps totally yet, but like the looks of the Originals. Like I said, I think the Potatos are ahead in the race.
